GENERAL NEWS

We have a new baby!!! We are thrilled to announce the addition of IZABELLA RENAE to our family! Izabella was born in December and has already blessed us with lots of love and laughter!

MIAMI

On April 11, we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Professional Referral Group. Once again these wonderful people brought an afternoon of fun and friendship to our home and made all of our children and adults feel special! From cotton candy and a bounce house to delicious food once again sponsored by the great guys at Kendall Ale House and a special visit from the Easter Bunny, it was a day that none of them will soon forget.  This day was also Little Mikey's (Camille and Mike's grandson) 7th birthday!! Happy Birthday Michael! Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a memorable event! **Pictures coming soon.


NORTH CAROLINA

Several of our NC crew were able to make it down for the Easter Egg Hunt on April 11. We were thrilled to see Tiffany, Champ, Karley, Adelle, and Meredith, along with CamRyn and Michael (Camille and Dr. Mike's grandkids) who spent the week with us and had a great time at the end of week Easter bash! Adelle also got to make a very special visit to Miami Children's Hospital's Cardiac Care Center where she spent so much time when she was younger. Dr. Redmond Burke and the dedicated team of doctors and nurses that work in the CICU and cardiac floor literally saved Adelle's life several times during her numerous admissions from 1999-2005. Adelle survived numerous cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker and internal defibrillator implants, and open-heart surgery to replace a leaky valve in her heart with a mechanical one; she additionally had other complications including clotting of the mechanical valve and infections. She is truly a miracle and the MCH Cardiac Team and our beloved Dr. Mas (Adelle's cardiologist) are our Miracle Workers! It was a wondrous reunion with several nurses and doctors who took care of Adelle many times during her stays.
