A Little Slice of Heaven
in Hayesville!

In addition to our Miami location, the Foundation has
a facility in Hayesville, North Carolina.  Located in
the western Smoky Mountains just two hours from
Atlanta and Asheville, the property is set up as a
working farm, complete with horses, ducks, laying
chickens, pigs, and turkeys. We have recently
added Alpacas to the brood!

All of this farm livestock, in addition to our
numerous dogs and cats, makes for a fun, exciting
mix for our children and adults!  The kids love
helping with the farm, and share the various tasks
that come with farm life, as well as helping to care
for and train our dogs. Even our residents from
Miami love traveling to North Carolina for camp
sessions and visits, as it makes for an interesting
and fun-filled vacation!  Camille and Dr. Mike hope
that eventually the farm will become a retirement
village for the residents, allowing them a place to
live their lives in a manner that is fulfilling and
productive to society.
